Twin screw extruder in the use of screw-type off-chain problems, how to deal with it? wanrooe gives you six specific measures:
1, the pressure loss is too low: if the setting of the pressure loss is said to be high, the screw type even if it does not turn out to have enough sustained shipment of molten droplets external pressure to counteract the impact pressure of the pressure loss, the screw type is easy to twist in a particular aspect will not return, which will unfold more work on the molten droplets and substantially increase the molten droplets water temperature, and its semi-finished products efficiency and work cycle turned into a back-time response.
2. Twin screw extruders are subject to wear even when the screw type is subject to wear: as with the infeed section, when the silicone rubber thermally decomposes in the narrowing section of the screw type the cells migrate in the center line of the twin screw extruder. When the screw type passes twisting, the waste encounters tensile strength and then falls off the extruder wall and is shipped to the side. If the screw type and the extruder are subjected to wear areas, the screw type will not be able to ship the scrap consistently.
3, too high in the middle and late stages of the twin screw extruder even if it is too thin: In the latter part of the infeed section, the waste is transformed into a thin layer of molten polymer in the heat treatment narrowing. The molten film layer is attached to the twin screw extruder. Without this thin layer, it would be difficult to sustain the pellet shipment. The scrap in the infeed section must be heat-treated to a critical temperature before it can be transformed into the vital molten film layer. However, it is often the case that the scrap is not allowed to reach this water temperature for too short a time in the twin screw extruder. This situation can occur due to the small size of the plant and the correspondingly small extruder and screw type. Stay too short moment easy to turn into polymer melt even if the mixture is not sufficient, which will lead to twin-screw off-chain even if stalled.
4, when processing hygroscopic material: incorrect waste drying will significantly reduce the viscosity of the material in the twin screw extruder and turn it into water vapour, making it difficult for the twin screw to continue to load the waste.
5, improper hopper planning: correct hopper planning is the key to ensuring that the material can be shipped safely. Generally speaking, the uniform size of the new granular material in a square hopper containing a sudden change in the narrowing area runs well. However, this is not the case when recycled waste is added. The shape and size of the pellets are very different through re-destruction, which affects the uniformity of the feed. Inconsistent feeding means that the screw type cannot adhere to the uniform loading external pressure on the melt drops, which in turn turns into off-chain.
6, the non-reverse ring failure: when the screw type is twisting and plasticizing the waste, the non-reverse ring should be in the front aspect, contacting the fixed ring seat. If the non-return ring is in a backward position, or between a continuous and backward position, there will be resistance to the molten polymer passing through the gap between the non-return ring and the ring seat. If a defective non-return ring is suspected it should be replaced immediately.
