Description

Plastic laser filter is a device specifically designed to filter plastic smoke and particulate matter during laser processing. In processes such as laser cutting, engraving, welding, and marking, plastic materials generate large amounts of smoke and tiny particles when heated, which not only pollute the environment but may also harm the health of equipment and operators. Plastic laser filters use efficient filtration technology to remove harmful substances from the air, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Working principle of plastic laser filter

Physical interception:

Using filtering elements such as filters and filter cartridges, mechanical interception of solid impurities, particles, etc. generated during plastic processing is carried out based on their pore size. In the melt filtration of plastic granulation, the filter can block foreign objects such as paper scraps and metal shavings in the plastic melt.

Adsorption function:

Some filters are equipped with adsorption materials such as activated carbon, which utilize their huge specific surface area and adsorption performance to adsorb harmful gases and odorous substances in the smoke generated by laser processing. For example, when laser marking plastics, activated carbon can adsorb the organic odor gases produced.
